Chairman
Anton Stephan
I first visited Alem Katema in 2004. During that trip, I fell in love with Alem Katema and its friendly people. That's why I'm committed to the "Partnership with Alem Katema." I'm delighted that I was elected Chairman for the seventh time in January 2023. We can only make a small contribution to improving the lives of the people in our partner city, but we want to seize this opportunity.

From the very beginning, I have been inspired by the idea of a partnership between these two communities—bridging such vast differences, yet united in one world. I am delighted to have the opportunity to help shape this partnership.

I have been the treasurer of the sister city association since 2025.
Sister city partnerships are important for building relationships and forming friendships. I am happy to play an active role and contribute my experience in finance.
I am looking forward to my first visit to Alem Katema and hope for a return visit.
