Kindergarden "Vaterstetten"

The first kindergarten in the partnership opened in 2000. Previously, only the priest Sene Wolda had taught children in his home. This had been noticed by the first visitors, leading to the decision to build a kindergarten for Alem Katema. The contract for the land was signed.
Closed in 1997.

The kindergarten has been named after our community. Currently (2026), xy kindergarten teachers teach xy children. Different children attend the kindergarten in the morning and afternoon.
In addition to the building dating from 2000, there is an extra room with a metal roof in the northeast. In 2025, an entrance to the kindergarten was built. It is located on the north side of the grounds and leads to a side street. Since then, the children no longer have to enter and exit via the main road.
